We invest in and develop
biomethane plants
with a focus on Europe
In support of the EU’s plan to increase
biomethane production 1000% by 2030
We reduce Europe’s
dependency of Russian
natural gas
Europe needs to substitute 45% of the natural gas imports that Russia delivered up to 2022
We focus on production
of advanced biofuels
from agricultural waste
Partnering
with feedstock providers
Partnerships
Partnerships are not only essential to the development and realization of successful biomethane plants but also to create win-win situations for the development partners and all stakeholders involved.
We prefer to partner with agricultural companies that not only act as feedstock suppliers but also offtakers of degistate. Coownership secures long-term interests and mutual value creation.
Alongside the development of our own greenfield pipeline, we also invite attractive projects from other initiators:
Including late-stage development opportunities or existing operating assets.
Where necessary we will re-engineer projects in order to increase capacity, efficiency, upgrade biogas to biomethane and potentially establish CO2 capture.
We have the technical and operating competency to re-engineer existing assets and restructure processes and contracts for a successful long-term future of each plant.
As a project partner, along with financing capabilities, we bring:
Decades of experience in technical design
Project
development
24/7 operations as a value add to our partners
Feedstock
management
Our background allows us to take an active role across the complete value chain including arranging BPAs/biomethane and CO2 purchase agreement and project finance.
Emerging
biomethane markets
The European biomethane markets continue to evolve with biomethane plants being established in new countries. We believe that Poland and Ukraine – among other emerging markets - will soon become major biomethane production countries, and we are active in this process.
